Job summary

Aditya Birla Group is seeking a Retail Business Development Manager in Mumbai, responsible for designing budgeted retail spaces aligned with brand requirements and converting opportunities into store launches within the fiscal year.

You will monitor market dynamics, maintain landlord relationships, and drive expansion through a strong franchise network while adhering to processes and systems for day-to-day updates and reviews.

Responsibilities

• Designate Retail Business Development Manager overseeing regional expansion in Mumbai/MAH
• Create budgeted retail spaces per brand requirements and convert opportunities into store launches
• Maintain relationships with commercial property owners and mall developers for best locations and costs
• Forecast future spaces in potential markets and map spaces per current and forecasted needs
• Ensure network of existing and new franchisees is strong and expansion is partnered

• Create the budgeted retail space as per the brand requirements
• Create Line of sight properties in Mall/ HS & convert them to store Launch as per budget & continuously look for newer opportunities for Conversion with in the Financial year.
• Reach & Penetration
• Continuously update the market mapping data for Expansion opportunities & plan timely entry for Cost & Competitive advantage.
• Negotiate favorable terms with landlord & Mall developers to get Right Location, Right Size & at the Right Cost .
• Forecasting future spaces in potential markets
• Study relevant markets to understand business potential.
• Continuously monitor competition and market activities.
• Map spaces as per current and forecasted requirements.
• Maintain relationships with owners of commercial properties to shortlist potential market places.

• Ensure strong network of franchisees (Existing & New ).
• Process Adherence
• Learn about the processes & systems with reference to RBD in particular and the organization in general.
