Qualifications

• B.E./B.Tech or equivalent in relevant engineering field.
• Certification in PLC, Robotics, Industrial Automation, or Lean Manufacturing is a plus.
• 3–4 years of experience in precision stamping industry or sheet metal fabrication preferred.

Responsibilities

• Review customer drawings, specifications and technical requirements.
• Conduct feasibility studies for stamping, fabrication, welding, and assembly processes.
• Prepare product development plans and timelines; coordinate prototype development and validation.
• Support design modifications for manufacturability (DFM).
• Identify automation opportunities and productivity improvements; design and implement systems.

Responsibilities

• Mechanical and Electrical Maintenance knowledge will be added advantage. New Product Development
• Review customer drawings, specifications, and technical requirements.
• Conduct feasibility studies for stamping, fabrication, welding, and assembly processes.
• Prepare product development plans and timelines.
• Coordinate prototype development and validation activities.
• Support design modifications for manufacturability (DFM).

Process Automation & Industrial Engineering

• Identify opportunities for automation and productivity improvement.
• Design and implement:
  • Pick‑and‑place systems
  • Pneumatic and hydraulic automation
  • Robotic welding cells
  • Conveyor systems
  • Vision inspection systems
  • Automated material handling systems
  • Develop semi‑automatic and fully automatic manufacturing solutions.
  • Conduct cycle time studies and OEE improvement projects.
  • Evaluate ROI and payback for automation investments.
