Job summary

Jobtailor in Jamnagar, India seeks a Mechanical/Electrical/Mechatronics Project Engineer to lead end-to-end engineering and capital projects, from concept through commissioning and handover.

You will prepare comprehensive project proposals, conduct feasibility studies, and manage schedules, budgets, and ROI analyses while coordinating with suppliers and contractors. Strong CAD and MS Project skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Graduate in Mechanical, Electrical, or Mechatronics with 3–5 years of relevant experience.
• Strong knowledge of industrial machinery, manufacturing processes, and automation.
• Experience in machine installation, commissioning, and project execution.
• Understanding of mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems.
• Proficiency in CAD tools (AutoCAD, SolidWorks, Creo).
• MS Office and MS Project working knowledge.

• Lead end-to-end execution of engineering and capital investment projects from concept approval through commissioning and operational handover.
• Prepare comprehensive project proposals including technical specifications, budgetary estimates, return-on-investment (ROI) analysis, project schedules, and implementation plans.
• Conduct technical and commercial feasibility studies for new machinery, manufacturing technologies, automation systems, and process improvements.
• Develop detailed project timelines, resource plans, and milestone tracking mechanisms to ensure successful project delivery.
• Evaluate equipment suppliers, technology providers, and contractors based on technical capability, quality standards, cost competitiveness, and project requirements.
• Lead installation, commissioning, qualification, and start-up activities for manufacturing equipment and automation systems.
