Job summary

Mahindra Group is seeking a Production Planning professional for engine manufacturing in India. The role focuses on daily, weekly and monthly planning, ensuring timely dispatches and material availability to support assembly lines in a fast-paced automotive environment.

Candidate should have 5–8 years of experience in production planning or diploma-equivalent levels with strong skills in MRP, SAP, and MS Office to manage inventory and production schedules efficiently.

Qualifications

• Diploma or degree in engineering relevant to production planning.
• Experience in manufacturing, preferably automotive, with exposure to planning and scheduling.

Responsibilities

• Plan production of engines daily, weekly and monthly as per plan.
• Dispatch engines and SPD components per plan.
• Coordinate with SCPC on material shortages and ensure timely receipt.
• Ensure availability of machined IP components from machine shop to assembly.
• Oversee production and dispatch of new engine models per timeline.
• Implement TMW and TMSW guidelines and promote safety.
