Assistant Manager - PPC Responsibilities & Key Deliverables

Develop, monitor, and control production plans to ensure timely fulfillment of customer requirements while optimizing production resources. Create and maintain production schedules based on demand forecasts, inventory levels, capacity, and material availability. Ensure smooth execution of production activities and monitor adherence to production plans. Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure new products and processes are effectively developed and ready for production. Manage the transition of products from the development stage to full-scale manufacturing while ensuring quality and efficiency standards. Calculate and analyze labor, material, manufacturing, and associated operational costs to support business decisions. Drive cost optimization initiatives through effective planning, resource utilization, and process improvements. Collaborate with procurement and supply chain teams to ensure timely availability of raw materials and components. Identify and develop new suppliers and sourcing strategies when product designs fall outside established sourcing frameworks. Monitor inventory levels and implement actions to maintain optimum stock while minimizing excess and obsolete inventory. Analyze production performance, capacity utilization, and efficiency metrics, and implement corrective actions when required. Ensure compliance with quality, safety, and regulatory requirements within manufacturing operations. Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance productivity, quality, delivery performance, and customer satisfaction.
