Darwinbox Digital Solutions Pvt. Ltd. is seeking an experienced Plumbing and Firefighting on-site specialist in Mumbai. The role involves reviewing layouts, coordinating with consultants and contractors, and ensuring PHE/FPS works meet specifications.

The ideal candidate has 7–15 years of on-site plumbing and firefighting experience, with strong coordination and reporting skills. This position requires hands-on site supervision and collaboration with the MEP team.

Responsibilities

• Study and review layout plans for drainage, water supply, and firefighting systems.
• Coordinate with interdepartmental staff, consultants and contractors on PHE/FPS works.
• Review and certify PHE/FPS measurement sheets or bills for contractors.
• Monitor installation and test water and sewage lines in buildings.
• Perform regular inspections of materials and works for PHE/FPS activities.
• Raise non-conformance reports for deviations from specs and best practices; conduct site audits.
• Coordinate with in-house MEP on electrical or mechanical issues.
• Monitor plumbing works on site including external works and firefighting.
• Report maintenance problems to the department HOD.
• Plan and monitor day-to-day work of firefighting and plumbing contractors.

• Study / review layout plans for all drainage and water supply systems, Fire protection systems for all residential and commercial buildings.
• Coordination with Interdepartmental staff, consultants and contractors for all PHE / FPS associated work.
• Coordinate the activities between various contractors and subcontractors Reviewand certify PHE / FPS measurement sheets or bills of the contractors.
• Monitor installation and perform tests on various water and sewage lines for all residential and commercial buildings.
• Perform regular inspection of all materials and works for all PHE / FPS activities.
• Raise Non-Conformance Reports in case of deviations from specifications orindustry best practices. (Technical audits on site for quality monitoring)
• Coordination with the in-house MEP department on project Electrical or Mechanical issues
• Monitoring of the plumbing works on site whether for bldg. or for external works (Incl. water supply and drainage) and firefighting works.
• Reporting of any maintenance problem to department HOD (related to plumbing / f.f. Materials and workmanship.)
• Working out quantities of plumbing or firefighting systems for working out costing of plumbing and firefighting budgets based on available drawings.
• Planning & Monitor the day to day work of Firefighting and plumbing contractors/sub-contractor on site.
