House of Hiranandani is seeking an on-site Plumbing and Fire Protection Coordinator to supervise PHE and FPS activities for residential and commercial projects in Mumbai. You will coordinate with interdepartmental staff, consultants and contractors, review layouts, monitor installations, and ensure tests and compliance on site.

The role requires strong coordination, site supervision and the ability to raise non-conformance reports, managing day-to-day plumbing and firefighting works on site.

Responsibilities

• Study / review layout plans for drainage and water supply systems, Fire protection for residential and commercial buildings.
• Coordinate with interdepartmental staff, consultants and contractors for all PHE / FPS work.
• Coordinate activities between various contractors and subcontractors; review and certify PHE / FPS measurement sheets or bills.
• Monitor installation and perform tests on water and sewage lines for buildings.
• Perform regular inspection of materials and works for PHE / FPS activities.
• Raise Non-Conformance Reports for deviations from specs or industry best practices.
• Coordinate with in-house MEP on Electrical/Mechanical issues.
• Oversee plumbing works on site, including external works (water supply and drainage) and firefighting.
• Report maintenance problems to department HOD (plumbing / firefighting materials and workmanship).
• Plan and monitor day-to-day work of firefighting and plumbing contractors on site.

Job description

• Monitoring of the plumbing works on site whether for bldg. or for external works (Incl. water supply and drainage) and firefighting works.
• Reporting of any maintenance problem to department HOD (related to plumbing / f.f. Materials and workmanship.)
• Working out quantities of plumbing or firefighting systems for working out costing of plumbing and firefighting budgets based on available drawings.
• Planning & Monitor the day to day work of Firefighting and plumbing contractors/sub-contractor on site.
