Job summary

Infosys in Bengaluru seeks a skilled PHE and Fire Protection System Design professional to lead design and execution for commercial office buildings and campuses, from concept to commissioning. You will optimize designs, review BOQ and specs, and coordinate with vendors to ensure timely project delivery.

The role requires overseeing the complete life cycle, adopting latest technologies, and ensuring compliance with NBC 2016, ECBC, LEED, and related guidelines across large campuses.

Responsibilities

• Design Management for PHE (Plumbing) & Fire Protection Systems on new and refurbishment projects
• Plumbing & Firefighting system design for commercial offices and campuses — high side and low side
• Design and execution of rainwater harvesting and storm water management at building and campus level
• Design and execution of Sewage Treatment Plants, Water Treatment Plants, Fire Hydrant and Fire Sprinkler systems for large buildings and campuses
• Review and optimization of design, BOQ and specifications
• Upgrade standards to code requirements (NBC 2016, ECBC, USGBC LEED) and other guidelines
• Technical and commercial evaluation of vendor proposals and recommendations
• Manage execution with vendors for timely completion of projects
• Oversee complete life cycle from design to commissioning independently
• Identify retrofit opportunities aligning with organizational standards
• Oversee operations quality and drive Operations Excellence
• Drive innovation and adoption of latest technologies for world-class buildings
• Manage other infrastructure related works

PHE and Fire Protection System Design Job Description:

• Design Management for all PHE (Plumbing) & Fire Protection Systems for new and refurbishment projects
• Plumbing & Firefighting System design for Commercial Office Buildings and campuses – High side and Low side
• Design and execution of rainwater harvesting systems, storm water management systems at building and campus level.
• Design and execution of Sewage Treatment Plants, Water Treatment Plants, Fire Hydrant systems, Fire Sprinkler system, Fire Tender Roads, Fire Pump Room, etc. for large building & campuses
• Review and optimization of design, BOQ, specifications for all works
• Upgrade standards and specifications from time to time to remain relevant and in line with code requirements (National Building Code 2016, ECBC, USGBC LEED, and other applicable codes and green building guidelines)
• Technical and Commercial evaluation of vendor proposals and preparation of comparisons and recommendation
• Manage execution with help of vendor partners for successful and timely completion of the projects.
• Manage the complete life cycle from design to commissioning independently
• Identifying opportunities for retrofits/improvements in campus in line with organization’s set standards
• Oversee operations quality and drive Operations Excellence
• Drive innovation and incorporation of latest technologies to produce world class buildings and campuses
• Manage other Infrastructure related works
