Assistant Manager - Order Management

Job summary

AERZEN India is seeking an experienced Order Management professional to manage customer orders in a manufacturing environment. You will handle PO review, order confirmations, and coordination across Sales, Service, and Finance teams to ensure accurate and timely order processing.

Key tasks include preparing and issuing POs to vendors, maintaining master data in SAP, tracking order bookings, and supporting audits. Strong analytical and communication skills are essential.

Qualifications

• 7–10 years of hands-on experience in Order Execution.
• Strong domain knowledge in Engineering / Manufacturing industry.
• Experience with Material Master, Vendor Master, Purchasing, Inventory Management, and Invoice Verification.
• Good understanding of SAP MM & PP Module.
• Have Experience of SAP.
• Strong analytical, communication, and documentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Receiving of Customers Purchase orders from Sales dept, review of technical / commercial terms & profitability of the PO thoroughly.
• Sending of Order confirmations, Internal orders, Order Checklists, Pro forma Invoices to customers.
• Preparation of Sales Orders in co-ordination with Customers/ Sales & Service Team in Navision.
• Preparation / Issuance of Purchase Order to Vendors for the items included in complete package like motors, after coolers, other items etc.
• Preparing Purchase orders to AMG for the complete Imported machines.
• Co-ordination for ABG/PBG with Finance and sending it to customers for advice / performance payments.
• Follow-up with customers for advance / due payments.
• Preparation / Co-ordination, submission and Approvals of technical documents like GAD, Datasheet, ITP etc. to customers.
• Resolution of customer queries in co-ordination with relevant departments.
• Co-ordination and communication with Technical Order processing department at Aerzen HQ / Production / Vendors / Customers for smooth technical clearance of the documents for OWN / DIRECT orders.
• Co-ordination for the Inspection scheduled at AMI / AMG, Release note and dispatch clearance from the customers.
• Keeping track of the Order Booking, Turnover with respect to the targets / segments / salesperson / zone.
• Asia Pacific and MIS report.
• Attending Internal / External & ISO Audits for Sales / Order Processing.
• Any other work as HOD/reporting authority decides.
