Job summary

CIRCOR in Ahmedabad is seeking an Engineer – Technical Sales (AM) + Customer Service (AM) to support RFQs, quotations, and order coordination for pumps and spares across domestic and global customers.

You will enter requests in CRM, coordinate with Engineering and Operations, prepare offers for both standard and specialized needs, and ensure timely delivery with proper documentation. A diploma or BE in Mechanical and 2–3 years of aftermarket experience are preferred.

• Education as Diploma / BE in Mechanical.
• 2 to 3 years professional experience as Quotation Specialist / Aftermarket Engineer of industrial goods
• Ability to read, write, analyse and interpret business and technical documents in English.

Responsibilities

• Handle RFQs for pumps and spares for domestic and global customers.
• Enter requests in CRM and check reference pre-delivery.
• Review customer quotations from technical, commercial, and testing perspectives.
• Initiate and follow up trade compliance process with required documents.
• Prepare offers per pre-delivery; select correct replacement pump for obsolete or modified products.
• Consult with AE to ensure correct pump selection for motor considerations.
• Clarify deviations with customers for non-1:1 replacements.
• Coordinate delivery times with Operations (Order Management/Planning).
• Consult Engineering/ETO for technical clarifications.
• Send offers to customers, address open points, and create revisions.
• Follow up offers with distributor or field service.
• Transfer orders and technical handover to Customer Service with all required documents.
• Clarify technical and commercial issues with internal teams.
• Monitor and follow up on orders at various stages.
• Coordinate warranty checks where applicable.
• Work with Shipping team and manage IHM and shipping docs.
• Ensure accurate delivery packages per order requirements.
• Use cloud-based tools for order submission, documentation, and tracking.

Description

• Handling of RFQs for Replacement Pumps and or Spares for domestic and global customers, including intercompany.
• Enter requests in CRM, check reference pre-delivery.
• Check customer quotation request from technical and commercial standpoint, as well as for testing and trade compliance requirements.
• Initiate and follow-up trade compliance process, obtaining from customer all relevant documentation according to company guidelines.
• Prepare offers according to pre-delivery. For obsolete or modified products, or in case of different customer requirements, make new selection and select the correct replacement pump. If necessary, consult and clarify with AE to ensure correct selection of pump unit (for example, in case of motor selection). For deviating technical characteristics (when no 1: 1 replacement is possible) clarify the deviation with the customer.
• Clarify potential delivery times with Operations (Order Management Cell / Planning)
• Consult with Engineering / ETO for technical clarifications.
• Send offer to customers, clarify open points and possible customer queries, create revisions when necessary.
• Follow-up offers in cooperation with distributor and or field service.
• Order Transfer / Technical Handover to Customer Service with all required documents
• Clarification of technical and commercial issues with internal team.
• Process spare part and pump orders through all stages, including order booking, inter departmental coordination.
• Enter spare part and pump orders received via CRM into SAP with accurate technical and commercial details, in line with trade compliance and due-diligence requirements.
• Create sales orders in ERP with complete and correct information, including pump history, end-user details, industry segment etc.
• Coordinate with plant and order management teams to track order status, production progress, and delivery timelines, and communicate updates to customers.
• Act as the primary point of coordination between internal stakeholders and customers for order-related matters.
• Address and resolve technical and commercial clarifications related to orders.
• Monitor and follow up on orders at various stages of execution.
• Coordinate warranty-related checks wherever applicable.
• Work closely with the Shipping team and manage IHM and other shipping documentation.
• Ensure accurate selection and completion of delivery packages as per order requirements.
• Use cloud-based tools and systems for order submission, documentation, and tracking.
