Job summary

Burrito Restaurants in Bengaluru, Karnataka, India invites a Kitchen R&D professional to join the Innovation Kitchen. You will develop and improve recipes, run trials, and standardize methods to ensure quality, yield, and cost efficiency.

You will prepare samples, conduct tastings, evaluate supplier samples, and help train store teams during launches, while maintaining hygiene and documentation standards.

Qualifications

• Diploma or degree in Culinary Arts, Hotel Management, or Food Production.
• 2–5 years of experience in QSR or related sectors.

Responsibilities

• Assist in developing new recipes and improving existing products.
• Conduct kitchen trials and optimize recipes for taste, quality, yield, and cost.
• Standardize recipes, batch sizes, and cooking methods.
• Prepare samples for internal reviews, tastings, and customer evaluations.
• Execute food preparation and cooking trials in the Innovation Kitchen.
• Maintain high standards of food quality, hygiene, and presentation.
• Conduct regular tastings and sensory evaluations.
• Evaluate vendor samples and provide structured feedback.
• Prepare SOPs, recipes, batch sheets, yield calculations, product specifications, and trial reports.
• Assist in training store teams during new product launches.
• Collect customer and team feedback.
• Plan and order ingredients required for daily trials.
• Maintain Innovation Kitchen inventory and cleanliness.
