Job summary

Anheuser Busch InBev in Mysuru, India is seeking a Maintenance Planner for the Packaging Department. You will plan and schedule maintenance work orders, manage inventory of consumables and critical spares, and analyze equipment history to optimize reliability and cost.

The role requires ensuring compliance with safety, environmental laws, and internal SLAs, driving continuous improvement through root-cause analysis, and leading 5S checks and training to raise KPI performance within budget.

Responsibilities

• Plan and schedule maintenance work orders for the packaging department to optimize costs and equipment reliability
• Own inventory control of consumables and critical spares per the approved budget
• Analyze equipment history and maintenance data to feed maintenance plans
• Ensure safety laws and regulations are followed during maintenance activities; monitor critical safety tasks
• Ensure environmental compliance including waste management and environmental controls during maintenance
• Track nonconforming items from food safety audits and close gaps that cause quality events
• Implement Maintenance Planner SCL; participate in monthly 5S checks and review service level agreements
• Share best practices within the department to attract, motivate and develop talent
• Ensure timely task completion per SLA and RACI matrices
• Provide training and coaching on VPO tools and methodologies to meet KPIs within budget
• Launch and complete PTE for Packaging as well as implement DVPO and DST
• Follow continuous process improvement and root-cause analysis for new standards

Job description

Main activities:

1. 1. Provide maintenance service by effective planning & scheduling of maintenance work orders in the packaging department to the best maintenance costs & equipment reliability as the driving force.
2. 2. Owner of Inventory control of consumables & critical spares as per the approved maintenance budget.
3. 3. Analysis of equipment history & maintenance data, adjusted for submitting maintenance plans
4. 4. Ensure compliance with safety laws and regulations implementing maintenance planner SCL, monitoring of critical safety and key security tasks during maintenance routines; follow the department's various security issues, develop, and track the results of the program of action, and continuous improvement.
5. 5. Ensure compliance with environmental laws and regulations, compliance with the by-products management, waste management and environmental control measures during maintenance routines and participation in environmental communication, follow the department's environmental problems, develop, and track the results of the program of action, and continuous improvement.
6. 6. Tracking implementation of nonconforming items in food safety audits, eliminate the quality event to occur due to gaps in equipment maintenance.
7. 7. Implementation of the Maintenance Planner SCL, participating departments monthly 5S check, follow MCRS routines, according to 40-20-40 principle hold effective meetings, use continuous process improvement, root-cause analysis & problem solving tools to ensure continuous improvement to form new standards, regularly review mandatory internal / external mandatory service level agreements, in accordance with internal and external service level agreements, timely and effective provision of services and the support of other departments;
8. 8. According to the company's human resources management policies and skills matrix, share their successful experience within the Department, play a role in attracting, motivating & exhibition talents.
9. 9. According to SLA & RACI ensure timely completion of tasks.
10. 10. Through training & coaching, ensure employees are skilled in VPO 's tools and methodologies to ensure the KPI are achieved as per the budget; while continuing to challenge the new target and continuously improve performance
