Job summary

Parle Agro Pvt Ltd seeks a technical support lead to collaborate with PAPL/Franchise plants. You will drive plant performance, monitor productivity and equipment efficiency, and oversee KPI setting across production, quality and utilities.

You will plan layouts, sizes, validate P&ID/GA drawings, manage RFQ processes, supplier selection, and coordinate commissioning, qualification and validation of new lines.

Qualifications

• BE/BTech in Mechanical, Electrical or Instrumentation Engineering.
• Experience in plant maintenance and project execution.
• Knowledge of packaging, filling, process and utility equipment.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical support to PAPL/Franchise plants to improve performance.
• Monitor productivity and equipment efficiency across plants.
• Set KPIs for production, quality and utility aspects and analyze gaps.
• Plan layout, equipment sizing, and validate drawings (P&ID, GA).
• Coordinate RFQ, select suppliers, finalize I&C dates and production timelines.
• Commissioning, qualification and validation of new equipment/lines.

Job description

To provide technical support to PAPL/Franchisee assigned plants to improve plant performance

• To work with PAPL/Franchise assigned plants to monitor and improve plant productivity, equipment efficiency.
• To work as SME for packaging, Filling, Process and utility equipment, identify gaps in process and functionality and provide engineering solution.
• To SET Production, Quality and Utility related KPIs for Green filed/Brown filed project Plants and individuals, monitor KPIs, analysis the gaps and provide solution.
• Planning and designing, layout finalization, equipment sizing, validate all equipment P&I D and GA drawings
• Planning and monitoring project management activities-One Point contact from PAPL side to all OEMs for RFQ, Understand and finalizing equipment specifications for new installations, compare commercial offers and finalize Supplier, finalize I&C dates and commercial production dates, Initiate capex, monitor vendor payments. Finalize check list for FAT and acceptance Criteria. Will be responsible for commissioning, qualification and validation of newly installed equipment/lines.
• Plant Performance reviews on daily, weekly and monthly basis along with CFT members, maintain portal hygiene and control entry time.
• To identify and execute opportunities of technical upgradation, capacity and efficiency
• To identify and execute opportunities for operational cost saving/reduction
• To visit manufacturing locations for Technical plant audit – Routine or case specific. To visit various vendors in-process, machinery suppliers & utility suppliers for inspection & trial of equipment’s / machines for new projects or for upgrading existing ones.
• Asset care- to ensure upkeep of all equipment, maintain 100% uptime of all equipment, prepare schedules and follow best maintenance practices, to prepare and monitor R&M budget, support to prepare inventory norms and maintain inventory levels. Negotiations with OEM for ARC, AMC. to conduct technical audits in plants and follow up for NCs.
• Support EHS to maintain 100% compliance and achieve KPIs
• Support Legal team to maintain 100% compliance and achieve KPIs.
• To support marketing/packaging and R&D functions for new product development.
