Job summary

ACG World in Maharashtra, India, seeks a Maintenance Supervisor to lead the maintenance staff, troubleshoot machines, and plan preventive maintenance in post-production manufacturing.

You will coordinate spare parts, document SOPs, manage breakdowns, and drive cost optimization while ensuring compliance with cGMP, ISO, and safety standards.

Job description

• Lead the maintenance staff for proper troubleshooting and mechanical maintenance of machines in post-production -manufacturing
• Do proper planning and execution of preventive and periodic maintenance of machine as per schedule to control downtime
• Execute new projects & developments in department within time frame
• Primary responsibilities

Ensure proper troubleshooting and mechanical maintenance of machines. Resolve recurring problems on the machine running or on quality of printed capsules and provides solution

• Maintaining of documents including critical SOPs
• Managing breakdowns within the standard timings
• Maintaining machine breakdown history cards and carry out breakdown analysis.
• Suggests and implements necessary preventive checks, correctives and modifications related to machines
• List preparation of various machine equipment’s in the department requiring preventive maintenance and ensures periodic preventive maintenance of such equipment
• Ensure documents & standard procedures for preventive maintenance of machines and equipment’s. Maintain reports and entry In GEFU system
• Takes periodically the stock of change parts, sub-assemblies and other components
• Plan & do Size change of machines with co-ordination with section head in order to maintain line layout
• Ensures that all the equipment’s in the department are maintained in proper working conditions to reduce process loss
• Ensures proper spare parts planning and coordination with purchase for availability of machine spares with cost optimization
• Raise purchase requisition for various spares and components as required and coordinate the procurements with purchase dept.
• Suggest & implement different methods related to operations to reduce cost in the dept.
• Ensue proper inspection of the spares/equipment received from vendors.
• Installed and commissioning of new equipment’s in departments with proper validation of equipment’s (DQ/IQ/OQ/PQ) in coordination with QA
• Monitor and review CAPA implementation in order to avoid repeat customer complaint in coordination with Quality & department staffing
• Monitor cGMP, GDP, ISO, EMS, EHS, internal audits and other such systems effectively and maintains records accordingly to ensure zero non-compliance
• Ensure Safety standards are maintained within department

• Ensure identification of development needs for associate and ensure implementation of Training with HR department in order to support Departmental goals
