Job summary

Chatha Foods Limited is seeking an Equipment Management professional to oversee Unit 1 full-time operations, ensuring optimal functioning of production equipment and planning preventive maintenance.

The role extends to Multi-Unit Oversight (Units 2 and 3), Production Support, Breakdown Management with RCA and CAPA, and leading engineers, supervisors, and technicians; you will ensure PM adherence across all units to improve MTBF and support smooth production.

Qualifications

• Must have experience in equipment management and maintenance in manufacturing.
• Ability to plan preventive and breakdown maintenance.
• Strong leadership to guide engineers, supervisors, and technicians.

Responsibilities

• Perform audits and ensure SOP compliance.

• Ensure machine readiness per production plan and support line changeovers.
• Coordinate with production for smooth operations.
• Resolve equipment breakdowns; conduct RCA and implement CAPA.
• Lead engineers, supervisors, and technicians across units.
• Plan manpower and allocate tasks; develop team capability.
• Adhere to PM schedules across all units; reduce repeat failures.

Job description

1. Equipment Management (Unit 1 Full Time)

• Ensure optimal functioning of all production equipment.
• Plan and execute preventive and breakdown maintenance.
• Minimize downtime and ensure high equipment availability.

2. Multi-Unit Oversight (Unit 2 & 3)

• Conduct periodic visits as per defined schedule.
• Review equipment performance and maintenance practices.
• Perform audits and ensure SOP compliance.
• Guide teams to improve reliability and reduce breakdowns.

3. Production Support

• Ensure machine readiness as per production plan.
• Support line changeovers and machine parameter settings.
• Coordinate with production for smooth operations.

4. Breakdown Management & Continuous Improvement

• Ensure timely resolution of equipment breakdowns.
• Conduct Root Cause Analysis (RCA).
• Implement corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).

5. Team Management

• Lead engineers, supervisors, and technicians across units.
• Plan manpower and allocate tasks effectively.
• Develop team capability through guidance and training.

6. Preventive Maintenance (PM)

• Ensure adherence to PM schedules across all units.
• Reduce repeat failures and improve MTBF (Mean Time Between Failures).
