Job summary

Woven Talent is seeking a Production Supervisor for our machine shop, focusing on production management and quality control of ammunition components. You will oversee daily shopfloor activities, plan production, and supervise staff, machines, and processes to ensure targets and safety standards are met.

• Plan, execute, and monitor daily shopfloor production to meet targets; supervise manpower and machines.
• Maintain process discipline, dimensional accuracy, and traceability of all items.
• Monitor CNC/VMC/SPM operations for precision machining of ammunition components.
• Control cycle time, tool wear, vibration, and thermal distortion.
• Drive OEE improvement (Availability, Performance, Quality).
• Implement Kaizen and Lean manufacturing practices.
• Improve productivity per machine and per operator.
• Track KPIs related to production volume, quality, and downtime.
• Adhere to ISO 19001 / ISO 14001 / ISO 45001 requirements.

Job description

To ensure safe, compliant, and efficient production of medium caliber ammunition components (20 mm, 30 mm, 40 mm) including projectile body machining, cavity formation, fuse interface threading, and pre-assembly operations, while adhering to DGQA, PESO, JSG 0102, STANAG, and internal process standards.

To plan, execute, and monitor daily shopfloor production to achieve target output with required quality & supervise manpower, machines, and processes for smooth shift operations and minimum downtime, further maintain process discipline, dimensional accuracy, and traceability of all produced items.

Assign tasks and responsibilities to team members based on production needs & Track key performance indicators (KPIs) related to production volume, quality, and downtime.
