• Ensure parts meet AS9100 quality standards and tolerances; perform RCA for non-conformances.
• Identify bottlenecks and drive Lean/Six Sigma to improve productivity.
• Enforce safety protocols and coordinate with maintenance for machine uptime.

Supervisor / Production Incharge / Shift Supervisor

Shift – 3 shifts

Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced and hands‑on Production Incharge with a robust background in aerospace component manufacturing. The ideal candidate will spearhead shop floor operations, oversee high‑precision machining cells, and lead a team of machine operators to deliver complex flight‑critical parts on schedule and within strict quality parameters.

Key Responsibilities

• Shop Floor Leadership: Direct daily production schedules, manage machine utilization, and allocate resources efficiently to meet strict aerospace delivery timelines.
• Machining Operations Oversight: Provide expert technical oversight for high‑precision component manufacturing, specifically troubleshooting complex programs, tooling configurations, and setups on advanced 3-axis and 5-axis CNC milling machines.
• Team Supervision & Mentoring: Lead, coach, and supervise a team of CNC operators and machinists; conduct performance evaluations, assign shift duties, and drive continuous skill development.
• Quality & Compliance Management: Ensure all manufactured parts conform to stringent aerospace quality standards (such as AS9100) and strict engineering tolerances; oversee root‑cause analysis (RCA) for any non‑conformances.
• Process Optimization: Identify bottlenecks, reduce scrap and cycle times, and implement Lean manufacturing or Six Sigma initiatives to optimize shop floor productivity.
• Safety & Maintenance: Enforce workplace safety protocols and coordinate with the maintenance department for preventive upkeep of high-value CNC machinery to minimize downtime.

Required Qualifications & Skills

• Experience: Minimum of 10+ years of hands‑on production and shop floor supervisory experience strictly within the aerospace manufacturing domain.
• Technical Expertise: Deep, hands‑on operational and programming knowledge of 3-axis and 5-axis milling machines processing exotic aerospace materials (e.g., Titanium, Inconel, Aluminum alloys).
• Leadership Track Record: Demonstrated experience in managing, training, and driving performance across teams of machine operators and technicians.
• Blueprint Reading: Advanced proficiency in reading complex engineering drawings, GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing), and aerospace specifications.
• Software Literacy: Familiarity with CNC control systems (e.g., Fanuc, Siemens, Heidenhain) and basic CAM software/ERP production modules.
• Education: Bachelor’s degree or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Production Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
