Job summary

Kineco in Goa, India seeks a Logistics Coordinator to plan and coordinate inbound and outbound logistics for aerospace and defence materials, components, and finished products. You will ensure packing, labeling, documentation, and handling of sensitive parts.

Responsibilities

• Plan and coordinate inbound and outbound logistics for aerospace and defence materials, components, and finished products.
• Coordinate with suppliers, production, purchase, quality, stores, projects, and customers for timely material movement.
• Arrange transportation and monitor shipments from dispatch to delivery.
• Ensure proper packing, labelling, documentation and handling of sensitive/precision components.
• Prepare and verify delivery challans, invoices, e-way bills, LR/transport documents, export/import documents, and other logistics records.
• Maintain shipment traceability and documentation as required for aerospace and defence programs.
• Coordinate with freight forwarders, transporters, courier agencies, and logistics service providers.
• Monitor OTIF delivery performance, transit time, freight cost, delays, damages, and shortages.
• Develop and maintain a reliable logistics vendor/transportation network.
• Ensure compliance with company procedures, customer requirements, security protocols, and statutory requirements.
• Coordinate logistics for urgent/critical shipments and customer deliveries.
• Monitor logistics costs and identify opportunities for freight optimization and cost reduction.
• Handle logistics-related issues such as delays, damages, shortages, documentation discrepancies, and delivery exceptions.
• Maintain MIS and prepare periodic reports on shipment status, freight cost, delivery performance, pending dispatches, and logistics KPIs.
• Support audit, customer, and program-specific logistics requirements.
