Job summary

Keka Technologies Private Limited is seeking a logistics procurement professional in India to drive strategic sourcing, supplier management and end-to-end supply chain initiatives. You will resolve billing and vehicle release issues, optimize loading plans and ensure on-time delivery at optimal costs.

The role requires strong skills in strategic sourcing, logistics knowledge, leadership and stakeholder management to coordinate across procurement, stores, and production teams.

Responsibilities

• Resolve logistics issues including billing, loading, and vehicle release delays.
• Monitor activities to ensure timely delivery and weighbridge tasks.
• Prepare loading plans and coordinate loading supervision for timely vehicle release.
• Create procurement strategy with vendor identification and lead times.
• Oversee procurement, stores, inbound/outbound logistics, contracts and costs.
• Allocate funds for raw materials, contracts and stores based on finance.
• Monitor inventory ageing and maintain min-max levels for stores and consumables.
• Coordinate with end-user departments to ensure inbound logistics align with priority.
• Oversee transport contracts and re-evaluate existing contacts as needed.
• Plan outbound logistics with marketing and production to ensure on-time delivery at best costs.
• Implement procedures for effective vehicle tracking and vendor management.

Job description

• Resolve various upcoming issues for logistics (billing ,loading ,etc.) Such as hold up/delay in payments ,hold –up in vehicle release, Transport of over –dimension consignments ,truck availability issues etc.
• Monitor all activities to ensure vehicle release as per plan such as giving delivery order security entry, weighbridge tasks etc.
• Prepare and provide loading plans, coordinate for loading supervision and ensure timely vehicle release through all other required tasks
• Create procurement strategy including vendor identification and lead times based on annual business plan targets.
• Monitor all operations of procurement, stores, in-bound and out-bound logistics as well as contracts and cost of the manufacturing products.
• Ensure internal customer need fulfillment by monitoring inventory level and prioritizing and allocating funds for Raw material, Contracts and stores based on fund allocation by finance.
• Monitoring the ageing of inventory (slow moving inventory etc.) and maintain the min-max level of stores and consumables.
• Coordinate with End user department, monitor inbound logistics to ensure on-time delivery and ensure material fitting as per priority.
• Oversee finalization of transport contracts, in case of new destination or dispute/re-evaluation of existing contacts.
• Prepare optimal plans for outbound logistics in coordination with marketing and production to ensure on-time delivery at best costs.
• Implement proactive procedures for effective tracking of vehicles, plant visit for quality procurement and management of vendor ratings.
