Job summary

Sumitomo Chemical in India seeks a capable Warehouse & Logistics Manager to oversee daily warehouse, inventory and logistics operations in a challenging environment. You will plan material receipt, storage, dispatch and vehicle movements, ensuring FIFO/FEFO, batch control and inventory accuracy while managing SAP/ERP transactions for material flows.

• Experience in managing large-scale warehouse and logistics operations.
• Proficient in FIFO/FEFO, batch control and inventory accuracy.

• Ability to coordinate cross-functional activities with production, sales, QA, purchase and logistics.

• Manage SAP/ERP transactions for material and stock movements.
• Coordinate production, sales, QA, purchase and logistics activities.
• Manage export logistics and toll manufacturing operations.
• Monitor transporters, freight cost and vehicle utilization.
• Supervise warehouse manpower, forklifts and material handling.
• Ensure 5S, safety, housekeeping and agro-chemical storage compliance.
• Prepare MIS, KPI reports and inventory reconciliation.
• Manage warehouse capacity, space utilization and stock ageing.
• Drive cost reduction, productivity and continuous improvement.
• Support audits, SOP compliance and corrective actions.
