Job summary

Vasantha Subaramanian Hospitals seeks an experienced Hospital IT Operations professional to oversee daily IT activities and ensure reliable hospital systems. You will support HIS, EMR, PACS, LIS and RIS platforms while maintaining network, servers and backups.

Ideal candidates have 5–8 years in hospital IT operations, with preference for those experienced in HIS/EMR suites and NABH-compliant environments. On-site role based in Chennai district, Tamil Nadu, India.

Qualifications

• HIS/EMR/PACS/LIS/RIS support experience is essential.
• Experience in hospital IT operations and infrastructure is preferred.
• Knowledge of network, servers, backups and security controls is required.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day IT operations and ensure smooth functioning of hospital systems.
• Provide support and troubleshooting for HIS, EMR, PACS, LIS, RIS and other healthcare applications.
• Manage network infrastructure, servers, hardware and software systems.
• Coordinate with vendors for AMC, software support and system upgrades.
• Monitor data backup, security controls and system availability.
• Support users across departments for IT-related issues and requirements.
• Ensure cybersecurity practices, access control and data confidentiality.
• Maintain IT documentation, asset records and service reports.
• Coordinate implementation of new IT projects and technology improvements.
• Ensure compliance with hospital policies, NABH requirements and any other responsibilities assigned by Management.
