Job summary

Supreme Universal in Mumbai is seeking a Site Engineer / Sr. Engineer (Finishing) to execute finishing works across projects, including plastering, flooring, tiling, painting and carpentry, ensuring adherence to drawings, specifications and safety requirements.

You will plan sequencing with the Project Manager, coordinate with contractors and architects, monitor quality, and support handovers, with 5–7 years of relevant high-rise finishing experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Diploma in Civil engineering (Full Time) as a minimum qualification.
• BE/B.Tech in Civil Engineering preferred.

Responsibilities

• Execute and monitor finishing works (plastering, flooring, tiling, painting, waterproofing, ceilings, carpentry, fixtures).
• Plan and sequence finishing activities with Project Manager, Planning, MEP to meet timelines.
• Coordinate manpower, materials, tools, and equipment with contractors and subcontractors.
• Ensure works comply with drawings, specs, method statements and quality standards.
• Inspect works for quality issues and defects; coordinate timely rectification.
• Clarify drawings and specs with consultants, architects and interior designers.
• Coordinate civil, finishing and MEP to avoid rework and delays.
• Monitor contractor performance and address deviations affecting cost/quality/timeline.
• Assist handover by completing finishing works and closing defects.

Job Title: Site Engineer / Sr. Engineer (Finishing)

Reporting to: Project Manager

POSITION OBJECTIVE

To execute & Monitor all finishing works across the project life cycle, ensuring timely completion of project deliverables as per approved drawings, specifications, quality standards, safety requirements and project execution plan.

KEY POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES

• Execute and monitor all finishing activities at site including plastering, flooring, tiling, painting, waterproofing, false ceiling, doors & windows, carpentry, sanitary fixtures and other finishing works as per approved drawings and specifications.
• Plan and sequence finishing activities in coordination with the Project Manager, Planning, MEP and other concerned teams to achieve project timelines.
• Coordinate with contractors and subcontractors for deployment of adequate manpower, materials, tools and equipment as per project requirements.
• Ensure execution of finishing works as per approved drawings, specifications, method statements and quality standards.
• Regularly inspect ongoing finishing works and identify quality issues, deviations and defects; ensure timely rectification.
• Coordinate with consultants, architects, interior designers and other stakeholders for clarification of drawings, specifications and site-related issues.
• Ensure proper coordination between Civil, finishing and MEP services to avoid rework and delays.
• Monitor contractor performance and workmanship and highlight any deviations affecting cost, quality or timelines.
• Assist in handover activities by ensuring completion of finishing works, rectification of defects and closure of outstanding items.

Qualifications

Diploma (Full Time), BE / B.Tech (Civil) Preferred.

Diploma - Min 7 years of relevant experience as Finishing Engineer in High Rise Residential.
BE / B.Tech - Min 5 years of relevant experience as Finishing Engineer in High Rise Residential.
