Job summary

Aparna Constructions And Estates is seeking an experienced on-site Execution Manager to oversee construction activities, manpower planning, and daily progress. You will coordinate with PMC, review GFC drawings, and ensure strict EH&S compliance while managing procurement and contractor performance.

The role requires BE/AMIE or Diploma with extensive sector experience and a proven track record in finishing works. Strong leadership and site supervision are essential for timely, quality delivery.

Responsibilities

• Execute construction activities per policies and methodologies.

Execution

• Ensure all construction activities are executed in line with defined work policies and methodologies.
• Regularly complete required certifications related to work policies and specific project activities.
• Actively monitor and control wastage of materials and manpower to ensure resource optimization.
• Prepare and review manpower plans based on project needs and timelines.
• Develop and manage work plans across daily, weekly, monthly, and quarterly milestones.
• Track progress of ongoing works and update weekly and monthly progress reports.
• Coordinate with the Project Management Consultant (PMC) for smooth execution of day-to-day site activities.
• Conduct thorough reviews of Good for Construction (GFC) drawings and share observations with the Reporting Manager (RM).
• Ensure strict compliance with environmental, health, safety, and security protocols at site.
• Perform pre-, during-, and post-activity inspections using AAP tool monitoring.
• Liaise with contractors, vendors, and relevant departments to ensure timely execution of works.
• Carry out comprehensive contractor and risk evaluations to ensure quality and compliance in their respective work areas.
• Report daily site issues, bottlenecks, and concerns to the Reporting Manager.
• Capable of independently handling:
• Structural works up to 5 lakh sq. ft. or
• Finishing works up to 3.5 lakh sq. ft. or
• Villas (Structure & Finishing) up to 0.7 lakh sq. ft.
• Manage material requirements through timely indenting, processing of purchase requisitions, and follow-up for procurement.
• Raise Requests for Information (RFI) to the RM/PMC when clarifications or additional details are needed.
• Allocate work efficiently among internal team members and external contractors to ensure productivity and accountability.

Billing

• Submit contractor bills to the Reporting Manager for review and further processing.
• Ensure timely submission of daily NMR / DLR (Daily Labour Report) bills along with Joint Measurement Sheets (JMS) for verification and approval.

Customer Relationship Management

• Supervise and guide team members to ensure effective execution of tasks.
• Monitor the flat handover process in coordination with the team to ensure timely and quality delivery to customers.

People Management

• Foster team building and collaboration to enhance overall performance and morale.
• Effectively manage and support team members to ensure productivity and accountability.
• Provide training and guidance to sub-staff and contractor personnel to maintain quality and safety standards.
• Actively participate in self-development and training programs to enhance skills and knowledge.
• Build and maintain strong working relationships with contractors and vendors for smooth coordination and project execution.

Required Candidate profile

• BE/AMIE with 8 - 9 years of experience in construction/ real estate industry/infra (minimum 4-5 years of relevant experience)
• Diploma with 9 - 10 years of experience in construction/ real estate industry/infra (minimum 5-6 years of relevant experience)
• Should have experience in Finishing Works
