Job summary

Shapoorji Pallonji Group is seeking a senior finishing works manager to plan, monitor and execute finishing activities for residential towers. You will coordinate with architects, MEP teams, subcontractors, and site supervisors to ensure seamless interface management and On-time handover.

The role requires 10–15+ years of experience in finishing works, strong knowledge of finishing materials and installation methods, and a track record of delivering quality projects at scale.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering.
• 10 to 15+ years of finishing works management experience.
• Experience with architectural finishing materials and installation methods.

Responsibilities

• Plan, monitor, and execute finishing activities for residential towers (plastering, flooring, tiling, painting, waterproofing, ceilings, joinery, glazing, façades).
• Coordinate with architects, consultants, MEP teams, subcontractors, and site supervisors for interface management.
• Review drawings, specifications, method statements, and material submittals before execution.
• Prepare detailed work schedules and monitor progress to meet milestones and handover targets.
• Ensure finishing works meet quality standards and project specs.
• Conduct regular inspections and quality checks to identify defects.

Job description

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Plan, monitor, and execute all finishing activities for residential towers, including plastering, flooring, tiling, painting, waterproofing, false ceilings, joinery, glazing, faade finishes, and external development works.
  
• Coordinate with architects, consultants, MEP teams, subcontractors, and site supervisors to ensure smooth execution and interface management.
  
• Review architectural drawings, specifications, method statements, and material submittals before execution.
  
• Prepare detailed work schedules and monitor progress to achieve project milestones and handover targets.
  
• Ensure all finishing works are executed as per approved quality standards, project specifications, and industry best practices.
  
• Conduct regular inspections and quality checks to identify and rectify defects or non-conformities.
  
• Manage finishing subcontractors, monitor productivity, and ensure adherence to contractual obligations.
  
• Coordinate material planning, procurement requirements, and delivery schedules to avoid work disruptions.
  
• Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly progress reports and update management on the project status.
  
• Monitor snagging, de-snagging, testing, commissioning coordination, and final handover activities.
  
• Ensure compliance with safety standards, company policies, and statutory regulations at site.
  
• Participate in project meetings with clients, consultants, subcontractors, and internal stakeholders.
  
• Review and certify subcontractor work progress and assist in quantity verification and billing activities.
  
• Drive timely closure of consultant comments, quality observations, and customer-facing defects.
  
• Support project completion, occupancy approvals, and final handover of residential units and common areas.

DESIRED CANDIDATE PROFILE:

• Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering.
• 10 to 15+ years of experience in finishing works management.
• Strong knowledge of architectural finishing materials and installation methods.
• Experience in tile, stone, marble, gypsum, painting, waterproofing, faade, and joinery works.
