Job summary

Ultipro in Navi Mumbai seeks a Production Supervisor to lead daily fabrication, machining and assembly activities. You will coach and mentor the team to ensure outputs meet schedule and quality, while maintaining shop floor safety.

The role requires hands-on experience in heavy fabrication, FCAW welding, and reading drawings, with a proven ability to build high-performing teams in crane manufacturing or related sectors.

Qualifications

• Must have ITI – Fitter or Diploma/ B.E/B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering.
• 5+ years’ experience in supervisory role in Heavy Fabrication shop; otherwise 9–12 years for Diploma/B.E./B.Tech, with fabrication processes involved, preferably in Crane Manufacturing or Engineering Industry.

Responsibilities

• Supervise daily Production Activities as per the schedule.
• Requisition of Material on day-to-day basis.
• Oversee Fabrication, Machining and Assembly work.
• Supervision of material while loading and unloading.
• Ensure optimal use of equipment, materials, accessories and consumables.
• Supervision and control of manpower on the shop floor.
• Inform Stores/PPC for indenting material required on shop floor.
• Maintain daily Production Ledger, Job Card, Material Issue register and Consumable issue register.
• Maintain safety environment inside plant / on shop floor.
