You will oversee planning, design, and cross-functional delivery, ensuring safety, quality, and regulatory compliance while driving continuous improvement across sites and systems.

Responsibilities

  • Lead project planning and execution for Electrical, Automation, IT, Security Monitoring, and Telecom systems.
  • Own electrical and automation design activities, ensuring specifications and standards are met.
  • Coordinate cross-functional project delivery with engineering, operations, and contractors.
  • Serve as primary technical interface with customers, zone engineering teams, contractors, and agencies.
  • Manage contractor selection, bid evaluations, contracts, and performance management.
  • Drive safety, environmental and regulatory compliance through reviews and permit processes.
  • Control project scope, cost and schedule, including forecasting and procurement activities.
  • Support startup and operational readiness with maintenance, safety, training, and SOPs.
  • Implement quality management with inspections, testing, NCRs, and audits.
  • Lead teams and drive continuous improvement while upholding safety and ethics.

AB InBev India is looking to hire Assistant Manager - Electric/Automation for its Supply team based out of Aurangabad, Maharashtra.

Purpose

Lead the Electric/Automation construction of responsible project from ES, quality, schedule, cost control perspective. Help the team to hit the final target.

Responsibilities
  • Lead Project Planning & Execution :Manage the planning, engineering, construction, commissioning, and startup of Electrical, Automation, IT, Security Monitoring, and Telecom systems, ensuring delivery within scope, budget, and schedule.
  • Own Engineering Design Excellence :Lead electrical and automation design activities, ensuring all systems meet technical specifications, operational requirements, and engineering standards.
  • Coordinate Cross-Functional Project Delivery :Collaborate with engineering disciplines, operations, transition teams, and contractors to develop integrated layouts, eliminate design conflicts, and achieve seamless execution.
  • Serve as Primary Technical Interface :Act as the focal point for customers, zone engineering teams, contractors, and government agencies for design reviews, approvals, and construction coordination.
  • Manage Contractor Selection & Performance :Lead contractor qualification, technical bid evaluations, contract administration, contractor development, and performance management throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Drive Safety, Environmental & Regulatory Compliance :Champion EHS excellence through safety reviews, risk assessments, contractor safety management, permit-to-work processes, incident investigations, and implementation of VPO/ES standards.
  • Control Project Scope, Cost & Schedule :Manage project planning, change control, forecasting, expenditure tracking, procurement activities, action logs, recovery plans, and progress reporting to ensure successful project outcomes.
  • Support Startup & Operational Readiness :Ensure all maintenance, safety, quality, training, spare parts, SOP, and commissioning requirements are completed before system handover and plant startup.
  • Implement Quality Management Processes :Oversee quality assurance and quality control activities, including inspections, testing, material verification, defect resolution (NCRs), documentation management, and manufacturing audits.
  • Lead Teams & Drive Continuous Improvement :Develop electrical and automation team capabilities, foster a positive work environment, uphold company values of safety, ethics, teamwork, and operational excellence, and drive continuous improvement across projects.
