Role Overview
We are looking for a high-performing Assistant Manager- Business Development with strong experience in US market sales for IT services. The ideal candidate should have hands‑on expertise in end-to-end sales (lead generation to deal closure), with a proven track record of closing mid to large-size deals and building long-term client relationships.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify and generate leads via LinkedIn, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, email campaigns, and outbound calling
- Understand client hiring intent and create personalized outreach strategies
- Drive one-to-one engagement rather than bulk outreach
- Own the complete sales lifecycle from prospecting to closure
- Pitch custom IT services solutions (bespoke development)
- Close deals across staffing and solution-based models
- Collaborate with leadership for deal conversions when required
3. US Market Focus
- Drive business growth in the US geography
- Coordinate with onshore stakeholders (e.g., US-based consultants/CTO/partners) for closures
4. Account Management
- Build and nurture long-term client relationships
- Expand business from existing clients (land & expand model)
- Manage key accounts contributing to revenue growth
- Work with internal teams (delivery, presales, leadership) to ensure smooth execution
- Mentor/guide junior team members if required
Key Requirements
- Experience: 4–8 years in IT services sales (US market preferred)
- Proven track record of closing deals (~$500K–$1M annually or higher)
- Experience working on high-value engagements ($50–$100+/hour billing)
- Strong understanding of staffing vs solution selling models
- Hands‑on experience with LinkedIn & Sales Navigator
- Exposure to AI, Data, Cloud, or emerging technologies (Web3 is a plus)
- Strong communication skills (comfortable with global clients)
Good to Have
- Experience working with onshore partners/representatives in the US
- Prior experience handling small teams or mentoring juniors
- Engineering background (preferably Computer Science)
