Job summary

Rajhans Group of Industries in Surat is seeking a procurement professional to manage end-to-end sourcing of construction and real estate project materials.

You will coordinate with project, engineering, site, store, QS and finance teams to ensure timely deliveries and competitive pricing, while developing reliable vendors.

Strong knowledge of façade, elevation, cement and civil materials, and negotiation skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Experience in end-to-end procurement for construction projects.
• Strong ability to evaluate vendors and negotiate terms.
• Familiar with project coordination with engineering and finance teams.

Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end procurement of construction and real estate project materials.
• Procure civil, structural, façade, elevation and finishing works materials.
• Source and purchase cement, bricks, blocks, tiles, stones and other finishing materials.
• Identify, evaluate and develop reliable vendors and suppliers.
• Obtain quotations and negotiate rates, terms and delivery schedules.
• Coordinate with Project, Engineering, Site, Store, QS and Finance teams.
• Monitor purchase orders from placement to delivery at site.
• Ensure timely procurement to avoid project delays.
• Verify quotes, technical specs, quality standards and terms.

Role & responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end procurement of construction and real estate project materials.
• Handle procurement for civil, structural, faade, elevation and finishing works.
• Source and purchase materials such as:
  • Cement, concrete and related construction materials
  • Bricks, blocks, AAC blocks and other masonry materials
  • Chemicals, construction chemicals, waterproofing materials and admixtures
  • Faade and elevation materials
  • Tiles, stone, marble and other finishing materials
  • Other project-specific civil and construction materials
• Identify, evaluate and develop reliable vendors and suppliers.
• Obtain quotations, negotiate rates, payment terms, delivery schedules and other commercial conditions.
• Compare quotations and prepare comparative statements for management approval.
• Coordinate with Project, Engineering, Site, Store, QS and Finance teams to understand material requirements and delivery schedules.
• Monitor purchase orders from placement to final delivery at the project/site.
• Ensure timely procurement to avoid project delays due to material shortages.
• Verify vendor quotations, technical specifications, quality standards and commercial terms.

Preferred candidate profile

• Strong knowledge of real estate and construction material procurement.
• Good understanding of faade/elevation materials, cement, bricks/blocks, construction chemicals and civil materials.
• Strong vendor development and negotiation skills.
