Job summary

Gallagher in India, Bengaluru-based, seeks an experienced operations leader to manage a sizeable team within the Center of Excellence. You will drive performance, optimize processes, and ensure regulatory and service standards across insurance operations.

The role requires 15+ years in operations with 2–4 years in a Team Leader/AM capacity, supervising 8–13 FTEs, and a strong background in Accounting/Settlements within Insurance/Reinsurance.

Qualifications

• Graduate in any discipline.
• 15+ years of overall experience with 2–4 years in Team Leader/AM roles.
• Experience managing 8–13 FTEs.
• Insurance/Reinsurance domain experience; Accounting and Settlements a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead for key process improvement initiatives and identifying process wastes
• Analyse team performance, identify trends and make recommendations to improve overall operational performance
• Conduct onboarding interviews
• Manage available resources to ensure operational efficiency
• Drive team performance and SLA management
• Maintain day-to-day stakeholder interaction and develop relationships
• Create development plan for the team
• Goal setting for the team
• Drive a culture of adherence to company standards and SOPs
• Conduct performance management

How you'll make an impact

Principal Duties / Responsibilities

• Key representative for operational forums/projects
• Lead for key process improvement initiatives andidentifyingprocess wastes

Eligibility Criteria

• Graduate in any discipline.
• Overall experience of 15+ years, with a minimum of 2-4 years of Team Leader/Assistant Manager (AM) experience reflected on official employment records.
• Proven experience in managing a team of at least 8-13 FTEs.
• Strong experience in the Insurance/Reinsurance domain, specifically in Accounting and Settlements will be added advantage.
