Job summary

Wembrace Biopharma in India seeks a procurement professional to plan and execute the capital equipment procurement for capex projects, including heavy machinery and medical equipment. The role involves sourcing domestic and international vendors, evaluating quotes, negotiating terms, and coordinating import LC, customs, freight, and installation.

You will ensure timely delivery, commissioning, and compliance with policies while managing budgets and driving cost savings.

Responsibilities

• Plan and execute procurement of capital equipment, heavy machinery & medical equipment for capex projects
• Identify, evaluate and develop domestic & international vendors/OEMs
• Carry out technical & commercial evaluation of quotations and lead negotiations
• Manage import purchases LC, Customs clearance, freight & logistics coordination
• Ensure timely delivery, installation & commissioning of machinery
• Draft/vet purchase orders, contracts and AMC agreements
• Monitor capex budget vs. actuals and drive cost-saving initiatives
• Ensure compliance with company purchase policy & statutory requirements
