Job summary

Aditya Narayan Construction seeks an experienced AGM Procurement to oversee procurement and logistics for multiple building projects from the Head Office. You will coordinate material procurement, stores, logistics, construction equipment and rental machinery across several sites to ensure timely availability.

The role requires strong vendor negotiation, contractor management and leadership to drive cost-effective procurement, inventory control and network development for ongoing projects.

Qualifications

• Graduate/Master degree in Supply chain management or Material Management.
• Experience managing procurement and logistics for multiple large building projects.
• Experience handling projects in 100-400 Crore range preferred.
• Strong knowledge of construction materials, equipment and machinery.
• Proven experience arranging and managing rental construction equipment.
• Strong vendor negotiation and contractor-management skills.
• Good knowledge of inventory, logistics and material management.
• Strong leadership, coordination and commercial skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities from the Head Office.

Responsibilities

• Manage procurement, logistics, stores and construction equipment for multiple building projects.
• Plan and coordinate procurement of major construction materials per project requirements.
• Identify, evaluate and negotiate with vendors, suppliers and contractors.
• Arrange and manage rental construction machinery and equipment as required by project sites.
• Maintain records and control of rented and company-owned equipment.
• Coordinate material movement and logistics from suppliers to project sites.
• Monitor project-wise material requirements, POs, deliveries and stock levels.
• Ensure timely availability of construction materials, equipment and machinery at sites.
• Develop and maintain a reliable vendor and contractor network.
• Monitor procurement costs and negotiate competitive rates and terms.
• Coordinate with Project Managers, Engineers, Store Teams, Accounts and Management.
• Monitor store operations, inventory levels, material consumption and inter-project transfers.
• Ensure optimum utilization of materials and equipment and minimize wastage.
• Track equipment maintenance, servicing, rental periods and related costs.
• Prepare procurement, logistics, equipment and inventory reports for management.
• Establish and implement procurement and material-management systems and procedures.
