You will play a key role in aligning interior outcomes with brand vision, customer expectations, and commercial goals.

Design Leadership

  • Translate product strategy into compelling spatial layouts, material palettes, and design narratives.
  • Conduct competitive benchmarking, monitor industry trends, and introduce innovative concepts that enhance differentiation and user experience.
  • Collaborate with Marketing, Branding, and Sales to ensure that the design language reinforces the overall brand story and customer promise.
Project Ownership & Execution
  • Lead the end‑to‑end interior design lifecycle, concept development to final execution, across all projects.
  • Create, review, and refine layouts, technical drawings, and material specifications for accuracy, feasibility, and design quality.
  • Coordinate closely with Architecture, Civil, MEP, and site teams to ensure integrated planning and conflict resolution.
  • Supervise on‑site execution to ensure timely delivery, design fidelity, budget adherence, and quality control.
  • Maintain comprehensive documentation for all interior design projects including drawings, BOQs, material selections, and quality checklists.
Coordination with Internal & External Stakeholders
  • Collaborate with the procurement team to identify, evaluate, and finalize vendors and contractors as per project timelines.
  • Monitor and track project costs; recommend value engineering solutions when necessary.
  • Review consultant drawings, ensuring accuracy and addressing discrepancies promptly.
Quality & Design Assurance
  • Set and uphold standards for design quality, material usage, finish levels, and workmanship across all interior packages.
  • Proactively identify recurring execution issues or deviations and drive systemic improvements with internal teams or vendors.
  • Incorporate customer and CRM feedback post‑handover into future design decisions to foster continuous improvement.
  • Rigorously review consultant drawings for completeness, practicality, and adherence to Viceroy’s standards.
  • Stay informed on new materials, sustainability practices, and cost‑effective alternatives; proactively pilot innovations where relevant.
Cost Management
  • Drive a structured reporting mechanism with periodic updates and MIS dashboards for leadership and interdepartmental use.
  • Identify, assess, and onboard experienced interior consultants, contractors, and vendors based on project needs and quality standards.
  • Partner with Procurement to finalize vendor selections, ensuring quality‑cost balance and execution capability.
  • Conduct value engineering exercises without compromising design integrity or user experience.
  • Monitor project‑level design budgets and recommend course corrections where necessary.
Stakeholder Collaboration
  • Engage regularly with key departments, Architecture, Engineering, Sales, CRM, Marketing & Branding and Finance, for design alignment and operational execution.
  • Present interior design concepts, development progress, and key challenges to senior leadership for input and decision‑making.
  • Integrate customer insights, feedback from the field, and operational learnings into design strategy and decision‑making.
Leadership & Process Excellence
  • Lead and mentor the internal design team, fostering a culture of excellence, creativity, and accountability.
  • Promote continuous improvement through process refinement, documentation, and team capability building.
  • Set up robust systems to track project documentation, quality compliance, and consultant/vendor performance.
  • Prepare and share periodic status reports, dashboards, and audit summaries for internal stakeholders and senior leadership.
