Job summary

Cadila Pharmaceuticals Limited is seeking a procurement professional to lead projects and capex purchases across civil, infrastructure, furnishing, clean-room, HVAC, structures and fabrication works.

You will source competent vendors, run techno-commercial evaluations, negotiate terms, track deliveries, and ensure post-delivery documentation and smooth payments in collaboration with stores, users, and the finance team.

Qualifications

• Experience in strategic sourcing and procurement in manufacturing or pharma.
• Vendor management and budget control experience.
• Proficient in SAP/ERP and purchase order management.

Responsibilities

• Prepare project proposals and budget estimates for approval.
• Receive, verify indents, source vendors and issue inquiries.
• Perform techno-commercial evaluation and negotiate best terms.
• Coordinate with vendors for delivery and order execution to closure.
• Ensure post-delivery documentation (GRN, invoices, reports).
• Coordinate with finance for timely payments.

Role Objective / Major Purpose of the Job

Primary responsibility procurement of Projects & capex purchases related activities mainly all Civil work, Infrastructure, Furnishing, Clean-Room, HVAC, Structures & Fabrication jobs etc. Also looking various requirements of Utility, Process & Lab equipment’s, Warehouse & Mechanical requirements

Principal Tasks & Responsibilities

• Project proposal Budget estimation for approval -Pre Indenting Activities
• To Receive & Verify the Indent, accumulate all the details, sourcing of Competent Vendors & Floating Enquiries
• To make Techno-Commercial evaluation and make comparison of the received offers, Negotiation for lowest possible Value & align commercial Terms and find best solutions
• To follow up with vendors for Delivery, Order Executions up to satisfactory for order completion up to the account closing, warrantee periods etc.
• TO ensure proper Post Delivery Documentation by respective Plant Stores in charge, End-Users & Tech.& Projects Team i.e. Inspection Report/Installation Report, GRN, Invoice etc.
• To Co-ordinate with the Finance dept. for Various queries and timely payments
