Job Overview
We are seeking a qualified candidate to fill a Procurement position. The successful candidate will be responsible for identifying and developing supply sources, procuring raw materials, and ensuring timely supply of materials to our plants.
Responsibilities:
- Identify and develop supply sources for materials at competitive prices.
- Procure raw materials and intermediates for pesticides manufacturing.
- Coordinate with QC and R&D teams in the development of new products.
- Ensure timely supply of raw materials to our plants.
- Ensure compliance with EHS while sourcing raw materials.
- Develop strategies for cost reduction in raw material procurement and ensure cost savings in the procurement process.
- Coordinate with internal customers, stores, and finance for smooth source-to-pay processes.
- Ensure compliance with purchasing procedures and guidelines.
- Ensure cost savings in the procurement process and timely review with the line manager.
- Track and monitor monthly purchasing matrices.

- Good networking and market intelligence skills.
- Excellent command of MS Office, especially MS Excel.
- Hands-on experience with saving trackers.
- Excellent negotiation skills.
- Good exposure to buying from China.
- Knowledge and experience with Tally system/SAP MM Module.
Education and Training Requirements:
- Chemical Engineering graduate or Bachelor of Science or Master of Science with 7-10 years of purchasing experience or equivalent in the Agrochemical and Chemical Industry.
- Graduate in Materials Management.
