Job description

Job Overview

We are seeking a qualified candidate to fill a Procurement position. The successful candidate will be responsible for identifying and developing supply sources, procuring raw materials, and ensuring timely supply of materials to our plants.

Responsibilities:

• Identify and develop supply sources for materials at competitive prices.
• Procure raw materials and intermediates for pesticides manufacturing.
• Coordinate with QC and R&D teams in the development of new products.
• Ensure timely supply of raw materials to our plants.
• Ensure compliance with EHS while sourcing raw materials.
• Develop strategies for cost reduction in raw material procurement and ensure cost savings in the procurement process.
• Coordinate with internal customers, stores, and finance for smooth source-to-pay processes.
• Ensure compliance with purchasing procedures and guidelines.
• Ensure cost savings in the procurement process and timely review with the line manager.
• Track and monitor monthly purchasing matrices.

Education and Training Requirements:

• Chemical Engineering graduate or Bachelor of Science or Master of Science with 7-10 years of purchasing experience or equivalent in the Agrochemical and Chemical Industry.
• Graduate in Materials Management.
