Job summary

MYK LATICRETE Hyderabad is seeking a Senior Manager – Strategic Raw Material Procurement to lead sourcing for specialty chemicals and performance raw materials. The role focuses on global procurement across Asia, Europe and other markets while managing direct, indirect, and domestic sourcing to optimize costs and ensure supply continuity.

Candidates should have 12–18 years in strategic procurement, strong international sourcing experience, and knowledge of import logistics, Incoterms, customs

• Strong international sourcing experience.
• Knowledge of import logistics, Incoterms, customs and trade compliance.
• Experience in construction chemicals, specialty chemicals, paints, adhesives, polymers or related industries.

Responsibilities

• Develop sourcing strategies for specialty chemicals and performance raw materials.
• Lead global sourcing and supplier development across Asia, Europe and other key markets.
• Manage direct imports, indirect imports and domestic sourcing for assigned categories.
• Drive cost optimization through should-cost analysis, negotiations and value engineering.
• Ensure continuity of supply through risk mitigation, dual sourcing and inventory strategies.
• Partner with R&D, Quality and Manufacturing on new product development and raw material qualification.
• Negotiate annual contracts, monitor supplier performance and manage claims.
• Track commodity trends, exchange rates and geopolitical risks affecting supply.
• Drive localization, working capital improvement and sustainability initiatives.
• Leverage SAP/ERP and analytics for procurement excellence.

Job Description Senior Manager – Strategic Raw Material Procurement

Location: Hyderabad

Reporting To: Head – Supply Chain & Procurement

Lead strategic procurement of specialty raw materials for all manufacturing locations. Manage a portfolio comprising approximately 50–60% direct imports, 20–30% indirect imports through distributors, and the balance from domestic suppliers. The role excludes bulk commodities such as cement and aggregates, which are managed separately.

• Lead global sourcing and supplier development across Asia, Europe and other key markets.
• Manage direct imports, indirect imports and domestic sourcing for assigned categories.
