Job summary

Sugna Sponge & Power Private Limited in Tadipatri, Anantapur district, Andhra Pradesh, seeks Assistant Manager - Control & Instrumentation for CPP to lead C&I maintenance, calibration and optimization for uninterrupted power generation.

Requires 8–12 years of experience and a BE/B.Tech in Instrumentation/Electrical & Instrumentation. Will supervise engineers/technicians, ensure safety and ISO compliance, and coordinate shutdowns.

Qualifications

• BE/B.Tech in Instrumentation Engineering or Electrical & Instrumentation.
• Minimum 8 years of experience in C&I for power/ process industries.
• Experience with DCS/SCADA systems and instrumentation calibration.

Responsibilities

• Lead preventive, predictive and breakdown maintenance of C&I systems.
• Maintain DCS, PLC, SCADA, HMI and field instruments.
• Calibrate pressure, temperature, flow and level transmitters.
• Coordinate shutdowns and commissioning.
• Ensure safety, statutory and ISO compliance.

Job Purpose
To lead the Control & Instrumentation function of the Captive Power Plant by ensuring reliable operation, preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, calibration and optimization of instrumentation, automation and control systems for uninterrupted power generation.

Key Roles & Responsibilities

• Lead preventive, predictive and breakdown maintenance of C&I systems.
• Maintain DCS, PLC, SCADA, HMI and field instruments.
• Calibrate pressure, temperature, flow and level transmitters.
• Maintain control valves, actuators and analyzers.
• Support boiler and turbine instrumentation.
• Carry out loop checking and troubleshooting.
• Coordinate shutdowns and commissioning.
• Maintain calibration records and PM history.
• Supervise C&I engineers, technicians and contractors.
• Ensure safety, statutory and ISO compliance.
