Role: Manager / Deputy Manager – Instrumentation Department: Instrumentation Work Location: CP Plant, Daman Experience Required: 10 – 15 Years Required: 1 Employment Type: Full-time Qualification: Diploma / B.E. (Electronics / Instrumentation Engineering) Reporting To: DGM (E&I)

Mandatory Skill-Sets:
  • Strong knowledge of industrial instrumentation, process control, and automation technologies
  • Hands‑on experience with DCS, PLC, SCADA, HMI, VFDs, analyzers, field instruments, and control valves
  • Expertise in preventive, predictive, and breakdown maintenance management
  • Strong troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and reliability improvement skills
  • Proven experience in project execution, plant modifications, and system upgrades
  • Working knowledge of SAP PM / ERP systems for maintenance planning and reporting
  • Strong leadership skills with experience in manpower management and team development
  • Experience in maintenance budgeting, inventory control, and spare parts management
  • Knowledge of ISO systems, Quality Circle, 5S, and continuous improvement practices
  • Strong communication, coordination, and stakeholder management abilities
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively under pressure
  • Sound understanding of industrial safety standards and permit‑to‑work systems
Roles & Responsibilities:
  • Lead and manage day‑to‑day activities of the Instrumentation Department
  • Plan, allocate, and monitor manpower utilization for maintenance and project activities
  • Ensure high availability, reliability, and safe operation of all instrumentation and automation systems
  • Review and monitor the effectiveness of preventive, predictive, and breakdown maintenance programs
  • Analyse equipment failures, perform root cause analysis, and implement corrective and preventive actions
  • Lead instrumentation projects, plant modifications, automation upgrades, and modernization initiatives
  • Coordinate with Process, Production, Utilities, Projects, and Maintenance teams for smooth plant operations
  • Manage spare parts planning, inventory optimization, and cost‑reduction initiatives
  • Coordinate with Purchase and vendors for timely procurement of spares and services
  • Prepare, monitor, and control maintenance budgets and resource utilization
  • Track maintenance KPIs and drive continuous improvement initiatives
  • Prepare, review, and present maintenance, breakdown, reliability, and project reports
  • Provide technical guidance, mentoring, and training to engineers, supervisors, and technicians
  • Ensure compliance with safety standards, ISO systems, 5S, and Quality Circle activities
  • Promote a culture of safety, accountability, innovation, and operational excellence
