Job summary

Sugna Sponge & Power Private Limited in Tadipatri, Anantapur district, AP, is seeking a C&I Technician to maintain and troubleshoot control and instrumentation systems in the captive power plant. The role requires 3–6 years of relevant experience and ITI/ Diploma in Instrumentation or Electronics or Electrical & Instrumentation, with strong safety awareness and teamwork.

The technician will service DCS/PLC/SCADA/HMI systems, calibrate instruments, perform loop checks and support shutdown

Qualifications

• ITI or Diploma in Instrumentation/Electronics/Electrical & Instrumentation required.
• 3-6 years of relevant experience in CPP/steel plants or similar.
• Experience with DCS/PLC/SCADA/HMI systems and field instruments.

Responsibilities

• Carry out preventive and breakdown maintenance of field instruments.
• Maintain transmitters, gauges, switches, analyzers and control valves.
• Assist in maintenance of DCS, PLC, SCADA and HMI systems.
• Perform loop checking, calibration and commissioning activities.
• Troubleshoot instrumentation faults and rectify defects.
• Maintain calibration records and maintenance logbooks.
• Support shutdown and annual maintenance activities.
• Ensure compliance with SOPs, LOTO and safety procedures.
• Coordinate with Operations, Mechanical and Electrical departments.
• Maintain housekeeping and proper care of tools and instruments.

Job Purpose

To carry out preventive, predictive and breakdown maintenance of all Control & Instrumentation systems in the Captive Power Plant to ensure safe, reliable and uninterrupted plant operation.
