Job summary

WSP Global Inc. in Lucknow, India, seeks a recruitment professional to support sourcing and selection activities. The role focuses on partnering with hiring managers to plan and execute hiring strategies, fill open positions efficiently, and build a pipeline of qualified candidates.

You will conduct pre-screening, screen CVs, interview candidates, advise on selection approaches, and maintain recruitment trackers to keep stakeholders informed throughout the process.

Responsibilities

• Work with hiring managers on recruiting planning meetings.
• Efficiently and effectively fill open positions.
• Conduct regular follow-up with managers to determine the effectiveness of recruiting plans and implementation.
• Develop a pool of qualified candidates in advance of the requirement.
• Research and recommend new sources for active and passive candidates for recruiting.
• Build networks to find qualified passive candidates.
• Utilize various sources for recruitment.
• Post positions to appropriate Internet sources.
• Improve the company website recruiting page to assist in recruiting.
• Research new ways of using the Internet for recruitment.
• Use social and professional networking sites to identify and source candidates.
• Develop effective pre-screening questions to maximize process efficiency, short listing CVs against the requirements
• Efficient end to end applicant management for each Job Requirement i.e. timely review and short listing of applications, promptly updating applicants and responding to any queries
• Conduct preliminary and strengths based interviews, as required, assessing candidates to ensure cultural fit, long term potential, and technical fit for roles
• Advise hiring managers on the selection approaches
• Updating the recruitment trackers and keeping managers informed
