An Assistant Clinical Nurse provides clinical and nursing support under the direction of registered nurses and other authorized healthcare professionals. The position focuses on basic patient care, monitoring, preparation for procedures, clinical assistance, infection prevention, documentation, and maintaining a safe patient environment while ensuring timely reporting of patient needs or changes in condition.
- Assist nursing staff with routine patient care activities.
- Monitor and document vital signs as directed.
- Assist patients with personal hygiene, comfort, nutrition, and mobility.
- Support safe patient positioning, transfers, and transportation.
- Prepare patients for investigations and procedures.
- Assist nurses during clinical procedures within the permitted scope of practice.
