Job summary

Poonawalla Fincorp in Pune invites an experienced Branch Manager to drive field marketing, lead generation, and coinvest into growth of gold loan and asset product sales. You will verify KYC, authorize disbursals, manage foreclosures, and ensure compliance with company policies and audits.

You will mentor staff, monitor NPAs, prepare reports, and maintain quality performance while expanding business within the branch.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of Product / Sales experience in Gold loan or other Asset products.

Responsibilities

• Drive field marketing activities to improve branch visibility.
• Plan and monitor branch field marketing to maintain a healthy lead pipeline.
• Verify customer KYC documents and initiate loan disbursals.
• Authorize disbursals, foreclosures, and customer payments.
• Manage NPAs through proactive follow-ups and collections.
• Mentor and train branch staff and provide performance feedback.
• Prepare branch performance reports and drive business growth.
• Increase gold loan business and cross-sell third-party products.
• Ensure 100% process compliance in valuation of pledged ornaments.

Principal Accountabilities

1. Drive participate in field marketing activities with the team to improve branch visibility.
2. Plan, conduct monitor the branch field level marketing activities to ensure healthy pipeline of leads resulting in business conversion branch growth.
3. Focus on customer engagement appraisal of gold ornaments being pledged with correct weight purity assessment as per company policy and auditory compliance.
4. Joint custodian of the Vault with responsibility of safekeeping of pledge ornaments as per company policy.
5. Verify customer KYC documents, application requests and initiate loan disbursals.
6. Process foreclosure, part release, closure, interest payment transactions basis customer requests.
7. Authorize transactions for disbursal, foreclosure, release and accept customer payments.
8. Responsible for keeping NPAs in control through strong follow ups from the customers for interest collections.
9. Good planning abilities are required for smooth functioning of the branch for developing cohesiveness within the company and co-workers.
10. Hiring, coaching, mentoring and training employees and providing them with timely feedback on their performance.
11. Maintaining quality performance of the business, preparing various reports of the same and take necessary actions for growth of business in branch.
12. Increase gold loan business plus various other third-party products.
13. Responsible for correct valuation maintenance of 100% process compliance at branch.
14. Manage error free valuation appraisal of gold ornaments being pledged in branch with correct weight purity assessment as per company policy and auditory compliance.
