Job summary

Poonawalla Fincorp invites an experienced sales professional to head field marketing and branch engagement for gold loan products in Uttar Pradesh. You will drive field activities, ensure pipeline growth and oversee customer interactions from KYC to disbursal.

You will mentor branch staff, maintain compliance, and seek opportunities to expand gold loan business while boosting performance through disciplined reporting and cross-selling of third-party products.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of Product / Sales experience in Gold loan or other Asset products

Responsibilities

• Drive and participate in field marketing activities to improve branch visibility.
• Plan, conduct and monitor branch and field marketing activities to build a healthy leads pipeline and business growth.
• Engage customers and appraise gold ornaments for weight and purity as per policy.
• Joint custodian of the Vault with safekeeping of pledged ornaments.
• Verify KYC documents and initiate loan disbursals.
• Process foreclosure, part release, closure and interest payments.
• Authorize transactions for disbursal, foreclosure, release and accept payments.
• Maintain NPAs through active follow-ups for interest collections.
• Plan for smooth branch functioning and team cohesion.
• Hire, coach, mentor and train employees with timely feedback.
• Maintain branch quality and performance reports and take growth actions.
• Increase gold loan business and cross-sell third-party products.
• Ensure accurate valuation and 100% process compliance at branch.
• Maintain error-free valuation and appraisal of pledged gold.

Principal Accountabilities

• Drive & participate in field marketing activities with the team to improve branch visibility.
• Plan, conduct & monitor the branch & field level marketing activities to ensure healthy pipeline of leads resulting in business conversion & branch growth.
• Focus on customer engagement & appraisal of gold ornaments being pledged with correct weight & purity assessment as per company policy and auditory compliance.
• Joint custodian of the Vault with responsibility of safekeeping of pledge ornaments as per company policy.
• Verify customer KYC documents, application requests and initiate loan disbursals.
• Process foreclosure, part release, closure, interest payment transactions basis customer requests.
• Authorize transactions for disbursal, foreclosure, release and accept customer payments.
• Responsible for keeping NPAs in control through strong follow ups from the customers for interest collections.
• Good planning abilities are required for smooth functioning of the branch & for developing cohesiveness within the company and co-workers.
• Hiring, coaching, mentoring and training employees and providing them with timely feedback on their performance.
• Maintaining quality & performance of the business, preparing various reports of the same and take necessary actions for growth of business in branch.
• Increase gold loan business plus various other third-party products.
• Responsible for correct valuation & maintenance of 100% process compliance at branch.
• Manage error free valuation & appraisal of gold ornaments being pledged in branch with correct weight & purity assessment as per company policy and auditory compliance.
