Job summary

Poonawalla Fincorp in Mumbai seeks an experienced professional to drive field marketing initiatives and strengthen branch performance. You will lead campaigns to build a healthy leads pipeline, engage customers, and ensure compliant appraisal of pledged gold with accurate weight and purity.

The role also involves vault custody duties, KYC verification, loan disbursal support, and end-to-end loan closure processing, with a focus on reducing NPAs and growing both gold loan and third-party product

Qualifications

• 5+ years of Product / Sales experience in Gold loan or other Asset products.

Responsibilities

• Drive and participate in field marketing activities to improve branch visibility.
• Plan, conduct and monitor branch and field marketing activities to maintain a healthy pipeline of leads and business growth.
• Oversee customer engagement and appraisal of pledged gold ornaments with correct weight and purity as per policy and audit compliance.
• Joint custodian of the vault with safekeeping of pledge ornaments as per policy.
• Verify KYC documents, process applications and initiate loan disbursals.
• Process foreclosure, partial release and closure and handle interest payment requests.
• Authorize disbursal, foreclosure and release transactions and accept customer payments.
• Maintain NPAs through rigorous follow-ups for interest collections.
• Plan effectively to ensure smooth branch functioning and team cohesion.
• Hire, coach, mentor and train staff with timely performance feedback.
• Maintain quality and performance of business and prepare reports to drive branch growth.
• Increase gold loan business and other third-party product distributions.
• Ensure accurate valuation and 100% process compliance at branch.
• Ensure error-free valuation and appraisal of pledged gold ornaments as per policy and audit compliance.

• Plan, conduct & monitor the branch & field level marketing activities to ensure healthy pipeline of leads resulting in business conversion & branch growth.
• Focus on customer engagement & appraisal of gold ornaments being pledged with correct weight & purity assessment as per company policy and auditory compliance.
• Joint custodian of the Vault with responsibility of safekeeping of pledge ornaments as per company policy.
• Verify customer KYC documents, application requests and initiate loan disbursals.
• Process foreclosure, part release, closure, interest payment transactions basis customer requests.
• Authorize transactions for disbursal, foreclosure, release and accept customer payments.
• Responsible for keeping NPAs in control through strong follow ups from the customers for interest collections.
• Good planning abilities are required for smooth functioning of the branch & for developing cohesiveness within the company and co-workers.
• Hiring, coaching, mentoring and training employees and providing them with timely feedback on their performance.
• Maintaining quality & performance of the business, preparing various reports of the same and take necessary actions for growth of business in branch.
• Increase gold loan business plus various other third-party products.
• Responsible for correct valuation & maintenance of 100% process compliance at branch.
• Manage error free valuation & appraisal of gold ornaments being pledged in branch with correct weight & purity assessment as per company policy and auditory compliance.
