Job summary

Poonawalla Fincorp is seeking an experienced Branch/Field Sales professional in Maharashtra to drive gold loan sales, manage branch operations, and ensure compliance. You will engage customers, appraise pledged ornaments, and support a healthy lead pipeline while supervising vault custody and cross-selling financial products.

You will oversee KYC verification, loan disbursal processes, and collections, with a focus on reducing NPAs and growing branch performance through coaching and teamwork.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of product / sales experience in gold loan or other asset products.

Responsibilities

• Drive field marketing activities to improve branch visibility.
• Plan and monitor branch and field level activities to create a healthy lead pipeline and business growth.
• Engage customers and appraise gold ornaments with correct weight and purity per company policy.
• Joint custodian of the Vault; safekeeping pledged ornaments as per policy.
• Verify customer KYC documents, process loan disbursals and handle related requests.
• Process foreclosure, part release, closure, and interest payments as per customer requests.
• Authorize disbursal, foreclosure, release and collect customer payments.
• Maintain NPAs through strong follow-ups on interest collections and follow-up actions.
• Plan for smooth branch functioning and foster team cohesiveness across staff.
• Hire, coach, mentor and train employees; provide timely performance feedback.
• Maintain quality and performance reports; drive growth actions for the branch.
• Increase gold loan business and cross-sell third-party products.
• Ensure correct valuation and 100% process compliance at the branch.
• Maintain accurate weight and purity assessment and compliant appraisal of pledged gold.

Responsibilities

• Drive & participate in field marketing activities with the team to improve branch visibility.
• Plan, conduct & monitor the branch & field level marketing activities to ensure healthy pipeline of leads resulting in business conversion & branch growth.
• Focus on customer engagement & appraisal of gold ornaments being pledged with correct weight & purity assessment as per company policy and auditory compliance.
• Joint custodian of the Vault with responsibility of safekeeping of pledge ornaments as per company policy.
• Verify customer KYC documents, application requests and initiate loan disbursals.
• Process foreclosure, part release, closure, interest payment transactions basis customer requests.
• Authorize transactions for disbursal, foreclosure, release and accept customer payments.
• Responsible for keeping NPAs in control through strong follow ups from the customers for interest collections.
• Good planning abilities are required for smooth functioning of the branch & for developing cohesiveness within the company and co-workers.
• Hiring, coaching, mentoring and training employees and providing them with timely feedback on their performance.
• Maintaining quality & performance of the business, preparing various reports of the same and take necessary actions for growth of business in branch.
• Increase gold loan business plus various other third-party products.
• Responsible for correct valuation & maintenance of 100% process compliance at branch.
• Manage error free valuation & appraisal of gold ornaments being pledged in branch with correct weight & purity assessment as per company policy and auditory compliance.
