Job summary

Grand Hyatt Mumbai is seeking a guest‑focused F&B operations professional to ensure alignment with Corporate Strategy and to implement hotel actions where appropriate.

The role requires conducting regular divisional meetings, guiding briefings, and ensuring brand promises are delivered. You will handle guest and internal inquiries with courtesy, foster positive relationships, and oversee conferences and banquets to deliver exceptional service.

Responsibilities

• Ensure F&B activities align with Corporate Strategy and that Hotel Actions are implemented where appropriate.
• Prepare and update Departmental Operations Manuals as appropriate.
• Conduct regular divisional meetings and ensure effective departmental briefings.
• Ensure all employees deliver the brand promise and provide exceptional guest service.
• Provide excellent service to internal customers in other departments.
• Handle guest and internal inquiries courteously, ensuring timely resolution.
• Maintain positive guest and colleague interactions and relationships.
• Establish rapport with guests to maintain strong relationships.
• Verify that conference and banquet guests receive the best possible service.
• During peak periods, oversee conferences and banquets to ensure effective management.

Job description

• Assists to ensure that the Food and Beverage activities are aligned with the respective Corporate Strategy, and that the Hotel Actions have been implemented where appropriate.
• Assists to prepare and update Departmental Operations Manuals as appropriate.
• Assists to conduct regular divisional communications meetings and ensure that departmental briefings and meetings are effective and conducted as necessary.
• Ensures that all employees deliver the brand promise and provide exceptional guest service at all times.
• Ensures that employees also provide excellent service to internal customers in other departments as appropriate.
• Handles all guest and internal customer complaints and inquiries in a courteous and efficient manner, following through to make sure problems are resolved satisfactorily.
• Maintains positive guest and colleague interactions with good working relationships.
• Establishes a rapport with guests maintaining good customer relationships.
• Personally and frequently verifies that guests at conferences and banquets are receiving the best possible service.
• Spends time at conferences and banquets (during peak periods) to ensure that they are managed well by the respective employees and functions to the fullest expectations.
