Job summary

Devee Horizon Llp is seeking an experienced Banquet Captain to supervise and coordinate banquet operations, ensuring excellent guest service and smooth event execution. The role requires coordinating with banquet teams and other hotel departments to maintain high service standards.

The candidate will brief teams, monitor service quality, and liaise with Kitchen, Sales, Front Office, and other departments. Strong leadership and communication skills are essential for success in a fast-paced event

Qualifications

• Graduate or Diploma in Hotel Management or a related field.
• 34 years of experience in Banquet Operations or Food & Beverage Service.
• Strong knowledge of banquet service procedures and event operations.
• Good leadership, team management, and guest service skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple events.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate all banquet operations and service activities.
• Ensure banquet halls are properly set up as per the event requirements and BEOs.
• Brief the banquet team before events regarding service standards and responsibilities.
• Monitor food and beverage service to ensure high-quality guest satisfaction.
• Coordinate with the Kitchen, Sales, Front Office, and other departments for smooth event execution.
• Handle guest requests and resolve service-related issues promptly.
• Ensure proper grooming, discipline, and service standards among banquet associates.
• Monitor cleanliness and maintenance of banquet areas and equipment.
• Assist in training and guiding junior banquet service staff.
• Ensure all events are conducted according to hotel policies and standards.
• Report operational issues and guest feedback to the Banquet Manager.
