Job summary

HDFC ERGO General Insurance in Dimapur invites applications for the role of Assistant Agency Manager. You will lead front line sales in the East region and engage with agents to drive premium mobilisation and product adoption.

Key tasks include identifying and motivating potential candidates, onboarding certified agents, setting premium targets, reducing dormancy, and coordinating with underwriting, branch operations and finance to ensure smooth policy issuance and timely commissions.

Qualifications

• Identify and motivate potential candidates to enroll for becoming agents
• Activate certified agents through mobilisation of minimum premium in stipulated time
• Ensure familiarization of the company’s products, policies and sales processes to the agents
• Identify, communicate and agree on the premium targets with agents on various class of business
• Ensure lower dormancy ratio of active vs total agents
• Maximise mobilisation through regular follow-ups & strengthening of relationships with agents
• Ensure constant updating of agent’s knowledge on new products and underwriting policies
• Troubleshooting with Underwriting, Branch operations, Finance teams for policy issuance, approvals and timely commissions
