Job summary

Oxford University Press in Noida, India, is seeking an Assessment Content Controller to support the creation and delivery of high‑quality assessment content for learners worldwide. You will work with a global team, coordinating production schedules, trackers, and documentation.

This role focuses on operational support, stakeholder engagement, and reporting, helping ensure timely delivery while maintaining accurate records and efficient workflows across offshore and UK-based content teams.

Qualifications

  • Excellent attention to detail.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Excel, Word, and Teams.
  • Experience maintaining trackers, reports, records, file structures, and documentation.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience supporting freelance suppliers or external stakeholders.
  • Experience in administrative, coordinator, or operations support roles.
  • Experience in educational publishing, assessment, or content production environments.
  • Experience using workflow tools such as Jira or ClickUp.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain production schedules, trackers, workflow documentation, and content records to ensure information is accurate and up to date.
  • Coordinate meetings and content development activities with internal stakeholders, freelancers, and suppliers.
  • Support content commissioning activities by preparing documentation, assigning task IDs, issuing standard communications, and updating tracking systems.
  • Maintain Statements of Work, budget trackers, and accurate supplier records while responding to routine payment and operational queries.
  • Complete operational templates, recording scripts, media asset briefs, and content production trackers.
  • Compile, organise, and distribute feedback from multiple reviewers, ensuring information is recorded accurately.
  • Support pretesting and live seeding activities by preparing documentation, maintaining records, and tracking content assets.
  • Produce regular operational reports and dashboards relating to content production, workflow progress, content bank status, and budget tracking.
  • Act as a key coordination point between UK teams, freelancers, and suppliers, helping to identify and resolve operational issues to keep delivery on track.

About the Role

Based on our offshore operations hub in Noida, you will work closely with UK-based colleagues and gain exposure to global publishing and assessment workflows.

This role offers an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys organisation, coordination, and working in a fast-paced environment. You will be involved in a variety of operational activities that support the development, management, and delivery of assessment content, while building expertise in content production processes, stakeholder management, and reporting.

As an Assessment Content Controller, you will provide administrative, operational, and reporting support to enable efficient, scalable production of validated assessment content. Working as part of the Noida operations team, supporting UK-based content teams, you will:

  • Maintain production schedules, trackers, workflow documentation, and content records to ensure information is accurate and up to date.
  • Coordinate meetings and content development activities with internal stakeholders, freelancers, and suppliers.
