  • Strong ability to create, review, track, and manage project schedules and delivery plans.
  • Knowledge of milestones, dependencies, critical path planning, and delivery tracking.
  • Experience within Educational Publishing, ELT, or learning products.

  • Developing, reviewing, and maintaining project schedules, milestones, delivery plans, and workflow documentation.
  • Coordinating activities across internal stakeholders and external suppliers to keep projects on track.
  • Monitoring progress, identifying risks and dependencies, and driving mitigation actions.
  • Acting as the primary day-to-day contact for suppliers and building strong relationships.
  • Supporting scoping, cost estimation, budget tracking, and forecasting activities.
  • Managing project assets, metadata, and workflow governance across systems.
  • Coordinating delivery for print and digital products across content, design, media, and production workflows.
  • Driving continuous improvement in delivery processes and automation.

As a Supplier Delivery Lead, you will be responsible for the day-to-day delivery of supplier-led educational products and product components, ensuring projects are delivered to agreed quality, schedule, scope, and budget requirements.


Key responsibilities include:



  • Managing supplier-led projects from initiation through to final delivery in partnership with UK Product Project Managers and Content Commissioning Leads.

  • Developing, reviewing, and maintaining project schedules, milestones, delivery plans, and workflow documentation.

  • Coordinating activities across internal stakeholders and external suppliers to ensure projects remain on track.

  • Monitoring project progress, identifying risks and dependencies, and driving mitigation actions where required.

  • Acting as the primary day-to-day contact for suppliers and building strong, productive working relationships.

  • Supporting project scoping, cost estimation, budget tracking, and forecasting activities.

  • Managing project assets, metadata, delivery records, and workflow governance across multiple systems and platforms.

  • Coordinating delivery activities for both print and digital products, including content, design, media, and production workflows.

  • Driving continuous improvement by identifying opportunities to enhance delivery processes, workflows, automation, and operational efficiency.


In this role, you will have a significant impact on the successful delivery of supplier-led products, helping OUP scale delivery capabilities while maintaining high standards of quality, efficiency, and stakeholder satisfaction.


About You


  • 5-6+ years of experience delivering projects within publishing, content development, educational products, digital products, production, or similar environments.

  • Experience working with and managing external suppliers, vendors, freelancers, or service providers.

  • Experience supporting or managing supplier-led project delivery from planning through completion.

  • Strong experience in creating, reviewing, tracking, and managing project schedules and delivery plans.

  • Good understanding of project milestones, dependencies, critical path planning, and delivery tracking.

  • Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously.

  • Strong communication, stakeholder management, and problem-solving skills.

  • Experience within Educational Publishing, ELT, or learning products.

  • Knowledge of SAP, Biblio, Salesforce, ClickUp, DAM, or similar systems.

  • Experience using AI-enabled workflow, reporting, or automation tools.

  • Experience driving process improvements and workflow optimisation initiatives.
