As a Senior Journal Manager – Production, you will act as a trusted partner for journal editors, learned societies, and editorial offices, ensuring their production requirements are delivered effectively and to the highest standards.

Key responsibilities include:

• Managing relationships with external clients and serving as their primary production contact.
• Providing regular performance reporting, analysis, and recommendations to support client objectives.
• Advising clients on production workflows, process improvements, and potential risks.
• Coordinating and communicating production requirements across internal teams and external suppliers.
• Managing journal-level developments, updates, supplements, and workflow changes.
• Responding to client queries and resolving issues through effective stakeholder engagement.
• Leading and contributing to projects focused on quality improvement, standardization, and operational efficiency.
• Maintaining journal documentation, process guides, and escalation records.
• Supporting issue planning and publication schedules through effective workflow management.
• Building strong partnerships across Production, Editorial, and other publishing teams.
• Training, mentoring, and coaching colleagues while contributing to the ongoing development of team capabilities.
